Class 4 had a wonderful trip to the Exotic Zoo to enrich their Science and Art topics for this half term.

First of all, they had a lesson from Jack who showed them various animals from around the world. He explained to the children what type of animal they were, what habitat they lived in and how they had adapted to live in that environment. The children then had opportunity to hold or stroke each animal: a giant millipede, bearded dragon, chameleon, corn snake and a skunk. 

We them went into the zoo to see the other animals. We were lucky enough to see the otters being fed and even got to hold a tree frog!
