Dear Parent/Carer,

Update on joining Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHoC) Multi Academy Trust

I do hope you are well and your child/children have settled well into their new class since September.

I refer to previous communications, including inviting you to participate in our consultation in the Autumn term of 2023, where we discussed joining the Multi Academy Trust, of Our Lady Help of Christians.

I’m pleased to advise you that we have made good progress over the last year. Various meetings have been held between Governors/staff and Diocesan and Local Authority representatives. Senior officers of OLHoC have also visited our school on various occasions and good working relationships have already been established.

All legal processes are nearing successful completion and we are hopeful that our school will convert to academy status on 1st November 2024. Becoming an academy, within OLHoC, will bring very little noticeable day to day change. Governors and staff will remain in place and the school uniform will remain as it currently is.
